With its 1491 meters of altitude, Mottarone is the ideal destination for all seasons,since from the top you can enjoy a great view. In winter, 16 ski slopes are practicable.
MOTTARONE CABLE CAR
The departure station is Stresa and after a 18 minutes journey you reach the top. It offers the opportunity to enjoy a wonderful view over the lakes and the majestic alpine chains around.

The garden can be reached by cable car or by car. From the Alpinia Garden you have a wonderful view of the central basin of Lake Maggiore, the Italian and Swiss mountains and the five lakes of Upper Lombardy.
