The characteristic Museum of Art and Wood Turning is located in an ancient wood processing factory belonging to the Maulini family that kept the activity from 1886 to 1970.
The Museum is placed in the historical centre of Pettenasco, a few steps from the Medieval House and from the Town Hall Square.
The museum houses a permanent collection dedicated to the art of wood turning. In the museum site exhibitions and events are organized, but also guided tours, cultural meetings and educational workshops.
There is also an info point, a reference place for the city and tourists where you can find information about products, itineraries, projects and events; it also has wi-fi connection that can be used by everyone for free.
The Museum of Art and Wood Turning is managed by the Pro Loco Association of Pettenasco and is member of the Lake Orta and Mottarone circuit Ecomuseum.
