The building was designed by the architect G.B. Martelli from Miasino at the end of the 18th century.
The heart of the sanctuary is the venerated image of Our Lady, walled in the wall behind the altar and framed by a large polychrome wooden structure in the form of a mantle with angels and cherubims.
